The term “first responder” comprises those entrusted with safeguarding the rest of us.

 

“First responder” includes law enforcement (e.g., police, DEA, ATF), firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, etc.

 

We also consider others charged with our security eligible for this clinic, e.g., members of the intelligence community and armed services.

 

The work of first responders is physical, risky, demanding and life-threatening.

 

Here is the philosophy behind The Clinic For First Responders ^sm.

 

At The Anabolic Clinic ^sm, we believe that first responders put their lives on the line when they are hard at work protecting/helping the rest of us.

 

Simply stated, it is an existential matter to us.

 

When engaged in their valuable work, first responders should be in the best physical and mental condition possible.

 

We believe this to be a matter of survival.

 

The conditions associated with low testosterone, listed below, can have a negative effect on survival and decision-making, as you will see.

 

Low testosterone is associated with the following in men AND women: 

• Loss of muscle and muscle mass 

• Weakness 

• Loss of strength 

• Fatigue – feeling “burned out” 

• Decreased stamina 

• Decrease in competitiveness 

• Memory lapses - forgetfulness 

• Decreased mental ability 

• Foggy thinking 

• Bone loss – predisposes to injuries and fractures 

• Malaise – lack of drive or energy 

• Sleep Disturbances 

• Hot sweats 

• Numbness, tingling, blanching of toes and fingers, especially in the cold 

• Aches and pains

At The Anabolic Clinic ^sm, we submit that any of these conditions can mean the difference between life and death for first responders (and those they protect).
